Types of finishes

CORTIZO windows offers a wide range of finishes: powder-coated, anodised and wrapping that adapt to any aesthetic requests.

POWDER-COATING (ALUMINIUM)

Powder-coating is a surface treatment that consists of covering the aluminium profile with a layer of synthetic lining.

Through this process we protect the profiles against the most extreme conditions, while serving an aesthetic function, as we are able to offer and endless range of colours.

CORTIZO windows offers and extensive range of possibilities, including traditional finishes, special textured finishes, wood-imitation and even anti-bacterial finishes.

CORTIZO powder-coating quality is certified to the highest European standards by QUALICOAT-SEASIDE and QUALIDECO, who recognise and guarantee the entire production process.

ANODISING (ALUMINIUM)

During this process, the thickness of the natural aluminium oxide is artificially increased, therefore providing substantial protection against corrosion and abrasion.

It also further improves aluminium’s characteristics of durability and resistance; therefore, anodising is the perfect surface treatment for both coastal areas and areas exposed to tough environments and pollution.

The application of the different colours and treatments allows us to offer more than 110 different finishes.

All of these finishes are certified by the seal of European quality QUALANOD, obtaining the highest levels of European quality.

WRAPPING (PVC)

PVC windows are available, besides white, in a wide range of wood-imitation textures and colours in constant development.

The application of wood textures and colours is carried out by covering the profile’s base with a thermo-weldable sheet, which presents a high resistance to solar radiation, thus guaranteeing a perfect and lasting finish.

FULL WRAPPING
Option of completely wrapping the profile of some of our PVC windows series, which helps achieve an improved finish.

OTHER OPTIONS

Besides these finishes, there are other possibilities:

• Dual colour possibility (only for PVC systems and systems with a thermal break)
• Possibility of a mixed window:
  
  • Cor Galicia: aluminium exterior and wooden interior.
  • Alcover: aluminium exterior and PVC interior.
