Hinged windows and doors
Hinged openings rotate on hinges located on one or both sides of the sash.

Side-hung
The leaves rotate around a vertical axis and occupy an area that must remain clear. They can open inwards or outwards.

Tilt
They tilt slightly from top to bottom towards the inside, making them ideal for controlled ventilation.

Tilt-and-turn
This combines side-hung and tilt opening, allowing both ventilation and full opening depending on the handle position.

Folding
The hardware folds and slides the leaves along a track like an accordion, freeing almost the entire opening.

Pivoting
They can have a vertical or horizontal pivot axis, making cleaning easier and providing effective ventilation.

Top-hung outward opening
The sash opens outwards from a top horizontal axis, with side stays moving it out and down.

Parallel sliding tilt
This combines sliding functionality with tilt-and-turn style closing, improving tightness compared with a conventional slider.
